There is a two page, in-depth interview with Swimmer One in today’s Independent. You can read it online here.

The feature is by Alasdair Lees, who has been championing the Swimmer One cause for a little while now. Just for the record, the single The Balance Company may not be out as early as 10 March, as stated in the article, since the video is not quite ready yet and there are a few other minor details to be sorted out. But it will be out soon. Watch this space. Otherwise, it’s a remarkably accurate account of our conversation with Alasdair. We really did say all that nonsense, and more - some of which I’m quite glad he didn’t print (I was a bit drunk, and was quite rude about the Mercury Prize, among other things).

We are also hard at work recording the second Swimmer One album, which should hopefully be finished by April, and out a bit later in the year.
