Happy Christmas, here’s some free stuff to look at and listen to
A very happy Christmas and new year to everybody who reads this stuff. Here are some new things to look at and listen to for free, as a sort of Christmas gift, namely…
1. A short film of us on stage at the Caves in Edinburgh in November, performing a new song called This Club Is For Everybody, Even You.
2. Free downloads of two new songs, Psychogeography and This Club Is For Everybody, Even You, recorded live at the Caves in Edinburgh and Oran Mor in Glasgow, also in November. (Last time we looked This Club was mistakenly labelled as ‘Fashionista’ on the site - this actually being the title of a song by Pooch, the other band playing that night - but hopefully the mistake will be corrected soon)
Admittedly, this Christmas gift is not strictly from us. It comes courtesy of The Mill, Miller Beer’s current music programme. But we hope you like it anyway.
Both of the songs are likely to appear on the second Swimmer One album, which we’re continuing to work on. We’ve been adding some live string arrangements to a few songs (as well as for Andrew’s solo venture) and hope to start doing final mixes in the next month or so.
Meanwhile, watch out for an exciting new feature on this website, to be introduced early in the new year - a new FREE DOWNLOAD every week. New and old demos, unreleased stuff, rarities, live tracks etc etc, to keep you entertained while you’re waiting for the new album.
