Meursault (it’s pronounced Merr-so) make apocalyptic, heartbreaking electronic music, with ukuleles. I’ve seen them play live twice now - an unplugged set and a solo set with laptop by their singer, Neil. Both times they were quite astonishingly good. Their album is wonderful too. They’re definitely the best band in Edinburgh just now.

Apart from us, obviously.
