Now that we have a minute to pause for breath, we’d like to thank everyone who has supported our debut album The Regional Variations this year. The reviews have been fantastic, and the feedback from live shows and on the web has been very encouraging. Here are some things you can expect from us next year…
Thanks to everyone who came to see our live shows in Edinburgh and London last week (especially the people who came all the way to London from Bristol; sorry we didn’t play your favourite song). Swimmer One have just been interviewed by two Scottish music magazines - Is This Music and The Skinny…
Swimmer One will play an Edinburgh show on 22 November. It is likely to be our only Scottish gig this year (apart from the John Foxx support slot a few weeks ago) so if you want to hear The Regional Variations played live, now is the time. Click on ‘read more’ for further details…
Swimmer One have recorded a session for Jim Gellatly’s radio show on XFM; it will be broadcast on Wednesday 17 October. You can find more info on Jim’s show here.
This is slightly short notice, we know, but Swimmer One have been asked to support electropop pioneer John Foxx on the Scottish date of his current tour, at Barfly in Glasgow this Thursday…
Swimmer One will play a rare live show in London on 24 November, at the Carling Bar Academy in Islington, as part of club night Feeling Gloomy…

Swimmer One’s debut album, The Regional Variations, is officially released at the end of September, but is available to buy from various places now - you can order it online via the shop page on this website. If you want to try before you buy, you can listen to extracts from four songs for free at this website’s music page.
The Regional Variations is one of Creative Review magazine’s record sleeves of the month.
